Try adding a painted armoire, metal bed, or distressed night tables in place of suite pieces all from the same collection. This gives a “lovingly collected over time” look rather than cookie cutter “bought the set from a warehouse sale”. The key is tying the pieces together with a common style and proportion.

Show your consultant bed ensembles (combinations of comforters and pillows used to dress the tops of beds in our displays). The ensembles are carefully selected to compliment the style of the bedroom set. Formal damask fabrics with fringed pillows, for example, do not look right on oak cannon ball poster beds, so we can often peg your preference of furniture style by the fabrics you like.
